From October 18 to 27, eight squads will compete in the ACC Men’s T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2024 in the Emirates, Oman, split into two groups. Together with Oman and the United Arab Emirates, India A and Pakistan A are in Group A. The final is set for October 27 at the Emirates Cricket Ground, with the top two teams from each group moving on to the semi-finals.
Tilak Verma leads the India A team, which features players like Rahul Chahar and Abhishek Sharma, while Mohammad Haris leads Pakistan A, which features players like Shahnawaz Durman and Haider Ali. Young cricket players get the chance to demonstrate their abilities and maybe advance to their senior national teams through the competition.
